George O’Brien — Founder, Principal Designer
A proven powerhouse in multifamily architecture, George O’Brien brings over 10 years of experience through his time at MSA Architects and the right hand of George Mouriz. George O'Brien led approvals for over 70 projects totaling more than 30,000 residential units across 40+ municipalities while managing over 15 active projects at a time and directing a team of 10+ designers to deliver complex, high-value developments on schedule.
George’s design portfolio covers every major multifamily typology at scale: cluster homes, townhomes, walk-up garden and mid-rise garden buildings, mixed-use developments, mid- and high-rise towers, wrap and podium systems, and low/mid-rise wood construction—frequently combining these typologies to optimize site value and market performance. He is equally fluent in visionary design and technical execution, translating bold concepts into buildable, code-compliant solutions.
Also known for his zoning experience, George has secured approvals through practically all municipal pathways: by-right, rezonings, PUDs, variances, design and commission boards, and programmatic initiatives including Live Local, WFH, Affordable housing and more. His deep, practical knowledge of Florida zoning and regulatory nuance consistently de-risks projects, accelerates delivery, and maximizes return for developers.
